"Yes, We Can." Response

The medium of the speech with the actors, singers, etc, contributed to the power of the argument by giving the viewer a sense of diversity. Not one person in the video was the same, yes maybe some were the same group with their profession such as singers and actors, but they all were of different races, genders, and communities in general. The ad also helped the viewer have a place in the video, as mentioned before, all the people in the video were of all different races and genders, but it even included other people, such as people of the American Sign Language community. At a point in the video there was a lady signing, it showed the viewer that "Yes, We Can." included everybody of all communities, and the video specifically told the video that Obama is supporting of everyone. Another way the video could have swayed a viewer's opinion about the presidential candidate, would be how the majority of people in the video were celebrities. If you're a fan of these people featured in the video, you're more likely to approve of Obama, but if you're not a fan of these celebrities, you're less likely to approve of him.
